It felt so good to tell this story live! BIG thank you to those who came. I think we’ll make it a thing - a live telling to launch each monthly tale. Please forgive occasional pixellation, internet was patchy. As I said, I love this story dearly - and have ever since I first heard it as a child. Note for now that versions of this story live in many different cultures, from Turkey to Cornwall, which tells us that this story holds important keys to our shared human experience.
